New Members show at Virginia Union University....... At 7:22pm

 

 

14. March 2009 - Youth Symposium

 

The Symposium will be held from 10:00am til 2:00pm at Virginia Union University.

 The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. Youth Symposium is held simultaneously by members across the country. This program offers young people a chance to talk about the challenges they face, learn about community resources available for their needs and get guidance on making informed choices that lead to a healthy lifestyle. The sessions that will be presented:

  • "It's Your Choice"- Make decisions that HELP, don't HARM!!!
  • "50 Million Pound Challenge"-Maintain a healthy weight!!
  • "Self Perception #3"- Portraying a positive image

The Youth Symposium will have speaker such as Alex Scott, Pastor Mike Jones, Yung Spade, Pun Pun, and many more to come...Refreshments, prizes, and male and female breakout discussion will take place at the symposium.
